Abstract
After exposing (20) rabbits to positive radial acceleration of 15 g for 5 minutes, the redistribution of RBC in veins at the various parts of the body was counted. And utilizing the quantitative measuring technique of haemin originated iron components, fluctuations of total red cell amount in the head of 367 mice were observed after exposure of mice to 10, 20, 30, 40 gs for the duration of 30 seconds to 5 minutes and 30 second and in control group. The results are follows.
1. Making both kidneys a standard level, the number of RBC decreased toward the upper parts from that level and vice versa. For example, the changing ratio of RBC in number in V. opthalmica superior was 31.1 and in V. femoralis it was +10.3?.
2. Marked increase of RBC in number, (+57.1? in average), plus blood clots was observed in the left ventricle.
3. Subcutaneous and muscular bleeding, and thrombus due to the accumulation of RBC were found in lower extremities.
4. The decreasing rate of red cell amount in the mice head was almost parallel to the g¢¥s value and the g-duration.
5. The counter-action between g and blood fluss direction was discussed in rabbits heart.
